Perusha is an 11-year old Japanese girl who, because she was raised in Africa, is unusually spunky. Aboard the airplane on route from Africa to her home in Japan, Perusha faints and enters into a "Dream World". In this dream, when Perusha breaks a heart-shaped light, a fairy from this magical world appears and presents her with a magic stick. With this stick Perusha transforms herself into a stunning 17-year old girl. In her disguised state she can encourage the growth of healthy affection in the world and can go about her mission of collection "love energy" to refill the heart-shaped light as the dream world fairy instructed her to do. Perusha is helped in her quest by 3 darling, green water imps, and a cat, Shimba. Her daily life centers around the twin brothers, Gaku and Riki, her boyfriends. Some very funny accidents happen when Perusha, with her little girl heart, enter the grown-up world.
