Unexpectedly, Goro Kumagai failed to enter Yokohama Minami High School, a famous school for its excellent soccer team. Instead, he entered a private high school named Kawasaki High School (abbreviated as "Kawako").
Goro met Yakumaru and Shingo there. He joined the soccer team, making the team has got its 11th member. Though its such a small team, Goro would never give up his dream and he has decided to welcome the his terrific life of high school soccer.
His love on soccer, friendship with teammates, competition with rivals, have made Goro grow up.
It is a youth drama with center character Goro, who is targeting at National Soccer Championship with his companions - Yakumaru and Shingo.
Based on the manga "OFFSIDE" by NATSUKO HEIUCHI originally serialized in the weekly Shonen Magazine published by Kodansha Ltd.
